Hispanic & Minority Veterans to Increase in Number
By race and ethnicity, the number of Hispanic Veterans will comprise 11.2 percent of the total Veteran population by 2037. This is a 3.8 percent increase from 2017’s 7.4 percent.
Minority Veterans will also increase in the next two decades. In 2037, this segment will account for 32.8 percent of the total population; an increase from 23.2 percent in 2017. U.S. News defines Minority veterans as all races and ethnicities aside from non-Hispanic, white former service members.
